American society for deaf children

The American Society for Deaf Children (ASDC) seeks to empower all families with deaf children by encouraging full language access.  They provide information and resources regarding the development of the linguistic, intellectual, social, and emotional needs of the child who is deaf.

National association of the deaf

The National Association of the Deaf is the premier organization established by and for deaf and hard of hearing persons.  They fully support the early language exposure through American Sign Language for the deaf child and the bilingual-bicultural educational philosophy.  They work in conjunction with many organizations to support the rights and interests of deaf and hard of hearing Americans.

Laurent Clerc National deaf education center

The Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center at Gallaudet University seeks to provide the most exemplary programs, curricula, resources, and instructional techniques for deaf and hard of hearing students nationwide.  It is also where the research briefs for the Visual Language and Visual Learning Center, which provides scientific support for bilingual-bicultural education, can be found.

Nyle Dimarco foundation

The Nyle DiMarco Foundation has a goal to improve the lives of every Deaf person, and they have a current focus on Deaf children and their families.  They aim to provide research-based information regarding the bilingual approach for Deaf education. They believe the Deaf child can be anything they want to be, and the key is language.
